The voisins or voisins du zero stands for neighbors of zero and is located on the left most area of the racecourse covering the numbers 22 to 25. The tiers is short for tiers du cylinder which means third of the wheel and is located on the right side of the racecourse. This covers numbers from 27 to 33.  Orphelins on the other hand means orphans and is located between the voisins and tiers. Two sections are covered by Orphelins and these are 17 to 6 inclusive and 1 to 9 inclusive.
